Spring Fever

I don't know if I really have spring fever but I do have a need for change. I feel like my little house needs some freshening up, but I don't want to spend the money that it takes to do it. So I have been improvising. I've been moving pictures around and have been changing the old things into new things!

Take this picture frame for instance. Someone gave it to us for our wedding it just wasn't my style. It was silver with a gold heart. I just pulled it out of storage and took the spray paint to it. Now it compliments the black furniture in our bedroom. (Also, the picture was for your viewing pleasure only. It isn't staying. It doesn't even fit for crying out loud!) I bought this lamp for a few dollars at a yard sale a while back. I needed a new look.
And there you have it. More black spay paint. A new lampshade will be coming.
This mirror was here when we moved in. It's been in our spare bathroom forever hidden from view. I was always at a loss as to what to do with it. More spray paint of course! Another addition to our bedroom.
Now my sister Heather gets the credit for this one. I made these panels for my bathroom and they were way to blah for me. They needed something. Heather suggested napkin rings! So smart! And don't worry, I know it's a bathroom. I'll be adding shutters.

Next, new curtains for the laundry room.
And last of all, a little homemade decor for my girls' bedroom.

Great projects! The little mirror is my favorite. TOO cute! And The stuff in your girls room is adorable. LOVE IT ALL!

You have inspired me to get some curtains up in my laundry room. We have lived here almost 4 years and I just know all my neighbors love watching me do my laundry. It is the only window without blinds or curtains. But not for long, thanks to you!
I love ya Kobie Jo!
