A little more Halloween
This year I decided to fore go the pumpkin carving and let my girls paint their pumpkins instead. This way they could be displayed after Halloween and they will last longer. They had a great time! They put on their big t-shirts, picked their colors and went to town. Kimber went more for the war paint look but she still had a great time. She also discovered that craft paint isn't very tasty.

You're girls are adorable! Did you see on my blog that I started the tradition this year of painting the pumpkins early and then carving right before Halloween. It's a fun way to get two activities out of the same pumpkin.
what a great idea!! i will do that next year. i love carving....my boys love carving adn taking out all the guts, but i love keeping them longer than a week, so what a great tradition! i sometimes also glitter them. really messy but really fun!
